Be there for people in real…. the virtual world has lost out on the touch, care and emotions

September 11, is remembered for the terrorist attack, for the people who lost their lives in the twin tower attack 19 years back. To this day it is probably one of the scariest incidents. I cannot even Fathom what came to their mind before crashing the plane into the twin towers. It surprises me that there are people in the world willing to die to inflict maximum pain and suffering on innocent women, men, and children. I strongly condemn such a ‘heinous and cowardly’ attack

Be it the 9/11, 9/1 in Russia, 26/11 in India, 16/12 in Pakistan, 11/3 in Madrid, 13/11 in Paris, 15/3 Christchurch, 21/4 Srilanka, somewhere in the world with these attacks innocent lives were lost or changed forever. The impact of these attacks ripples across the world and whether it happens in your backyard or thousands of miles away it is hard to not feel affected. If you are struggling, questioning and wondering how to retain normality and carry on you are not alone in feeling this way. Traumatic events no matter how near or far to us can have a huge impact.

The reaction was different in different countries. Iranians were more likely to support suicide bombing against Westerners. Americans were more likely to advocate military force to battle Islamic extremists, even if it meant killing thousands of civilians. Israelis were more likely to condone violence against Palestinians. In a more global sense, a fear of cultural annihilation may help fuel terrorist sentiments. Any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, wherever, whenever and by whomsoever committed

Terrorism cannot be overcome by the use of force because it does not address the complex underlying problems. The use of force may not only fail to solve the problems, but it may also exacerbate them and frequently leaves destruction and suffering in its wake. Human conflicts should be resolved with compassion. THE KEY IS NON-VIOLENCE.

Be the change …. you want to see in others !!!!!!

However, life will continue to throw challenges our way as individuals, communities and as the human race. But we are stronger than we think, we are resilient and we will cope with whatever life throws at us. What separates us from the animals, what separates us from the chaos, is our ability to mourn people we’ve never met

Political / Religious leaders influence people’s decision to adopt certain roles, for example by glorifying the role of a suicide bomber; people use culture and religion to protect themselves from a fear of death that lies on the fringes of awareness.

Also, we need to be mindful that one group’s terrorist most of the time is another group’s freedom fighter

To counter terrorism we need to spread education. I like Malala Yousafzai’s thinking that “With guns, you can kill terrorists, with the education you can kill terrorism.

The only path to peace is thru education

We need to be sympathetic with these misguided people. An emotional component that defuses detainees’ anger and frustration by showing authentic concern for their families, through means such as funding their children’s education or offering professional training for their wives.

Clean-up and restoration efforts will lead to rebuilding.

I PRAY FOR HUMANITY !!!!. We are all one being that has the opportunity to place the foot and make a stand on this planet that we call Earth as we may have different group religions, different languages, different coloured skin but WE ALL BELONG TO ONE HUMAN RACE.

Amen !!!
